Destructive bowling of Australian bowlers, Indian team piled up only 36 runs

Due to the devastating bowling of the Australian bowlers, the Indian team has piled up the lowest score of 36 in the first Test match.
In the first Test match of the series between Australia and India being played in Adelaide, Virat Kohli’s Indian team piled up India’s lowest score in Test cricket.

India scored 244 in the first innings of the match and on the second day of the match, 15 wickets fell and the Australian team was also piled up at 191 runs.
India in the first innings lead of 53 runs and score 9 runs for the loss of 1 wicket on the end of the second day.
But the third day of this day-night Test match proved to be a nightmare for India and the entire team piled up 36 runs in this innings of only 122 balls.

The devastation of the Indian team can be gauged from the fact that no player could enter the double-figure and the highest score of 9 was scored by opener Mayank Agarwal.

36 runs are India’s lowest score in Test cricket, having previously scored 42 runs when they were devastated by England in 1974.

Australia’s Josh Hazelwood and Pat Cummins took 5 and 4 wickets respectively in a devastating bowling performance.
Hazelwood took 5 wickets for 8 runs in the spell of 5 overs while Cummins took 4 wickets for 21 runs.
This score of the Indian team is one of the lowest scores of any team in the history of Test cricket.

The worst run-scoring record in Test cricket is held by the New Zealand team, which was bowled out for just 26 against England in 1955.
After that, the South African team had to bear the brunt of being out on the lowest score for the next 4 times, while the Australian team has also been out for 36 runs against England in 1902.
